The international seminar “Sustainable fashion in the spotlight” took place during the Creative Industries International Festival “Kasta Morrely Fashion Week”, the spring/summer 2021 edition.

The seminar took place on Sunday, July 4 at the House of Culture of Iasi “Mihai Uraschi”. The topics of the seminar brought to the fore the importance of sustainable fashion that embodies cultural, social, ethical, environmental and economic values ​​in a perspective process dedicated to sustainable development.

The seminar facilitated the transmission of specialized information and exchange of good practices on sustainable fashion by involving special guests:

• Prof. Dr. Souhir Abdelmoula, Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts, Sfax University Tunisia;
• Conf. Univ. Dr. Cornelia Brustureanu, Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, “George Enescu” University of Arts Iasi;
• Julia Butuca, director of Katty Fashion Iasi;
• Adriana Agostini, sustainable designer, Italy;
• Rita Sa, sustainable designer, Portugal.
