The main public events of the Creative Industries Festival 2022 edition with the public are:
I. KASTA MORRELY FASHION WEEK
The only internationally recognized high fashion cultural event, organized by highly qualified international specialists.
Kasta Morrely Fashion Week took place at the Agora Iași Events Center, between 29 April – 1 May 2022. The event continues in Iasi after the events in Portugal and Tunisia, presenting for the first time Fashion Theatre® and launches collections of Romanian designers and international guests.
Special guests from abroad: Amarige Fashion Group – Oksana Mukha Ukraine collection, Elsa Fairytale Dresses Ukraine, Addy van den Krommenacker designer Royal House of Netherlands, Simone Perricone Italy.
Romanian fashion brands and designers invited: 3am – Andreea Mitroi Constanta, Lily of the Valley Sibiu, Disia Couture Craiova, Buticul Evei Bucharest, Dana Rosh Brasov, Onur Osman Bucharest, Morrely Couture Iasi, Nicoleta Obiș Satu Mare, Maya Concept Iasi, Seroussi Iasi , Galla Maison Iasi, Victoria Sava Bucharest, Kasta Morrely Kids Iasi.
The Faculty of Visual Arts and Design – George Enescu National University of Arts in Iasi, will present, as at every edition, the best clothing works of students and graduates.
Within the project “Sustainability of Fashion in the spotlight, new trends in Intercultural Learning”, two international intercultural collections were created to promote sustainable fashion. The collections were made by an international team Romania – Portugal – Tunisia, respecting the principles of sustainable fashion and the specifics of each country represented and will be presented on the catwalk Kasta Morrely Fashion Week.
II. FAIR - "FASHION FOR TOMORROW"
29 April - 1 May 2022, at Agora Iasi Events Center.
Public access was free and was open daily from 12:00 to 21:00. The event offered to the public the opportunity to choose from hundreds of clothing creations of authentic Romanian designers for three days and to watch the creative exhibitions of the guests.
The designers invited to the Fair “Fashion for Tomorrow” area werw: Amarige Fashion Group – Oksana Mukha Ukraine collection, Buticul Evei one of the largest online fashion shopping platforms in Romania, 3am – Andreea Mitroi, Morrely Couture, Dana Rosh, Pasărea Măiastră , The Hat Venture et al.
The guests from the “Fashion for Tomorrow” Exhibition area were: Faculty of Visual Arts and Design – George Enescu National University of Arts in Iasi, designer Nicoleta Obiș, Katty Fashion, Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts – Sfax University Tunisia, Intercultural for All Portugal.
