FASHION EVENT
Between 11 and 13 November 2021, Sfax University of Tunisia through the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts organized two cultural and creative fashion events that took place in the cities of Monastir and Sfax, with the involvement and support of partners from Romania and Portugal. On this occasion, the project representatives were involved in a complex program of international events and conferences dedicated to fashion and fashion design: Tun-Tex3 – Tunisian textile events and the International Conference on Applied Research in Textiles and Materials 2021 – CIRAT-9.
The fashion cultural event in the Monastir took place on 11 November 2021, at Rosa Beach Hotel. The cultural and creative fashion event brought to the attention the sustainable fashion and intercultural learning through the arts of fashion show, putting in value the attractiveness of fashion activities for audience development.
The event included moments with fashion shows created by well-known designers and young fashion designers from Tunisia. The event promoted the arts of fashion combining sustainable fashion and traditional motifs through the two itinerant intercultural collections of sustainable fashion Tunsia-Portugal-Romania.
The events in Tunisia promoted the cultural heritage, art and the contribution of designers to the evolution of fashion, promoting the importance of sustainability in the field of fashion through dedicated moments of fashion theater®.

ISAM of Sfax (ISAMS), is an institute included in Sfax University which is a comprehensive state-supported university located on the in southern Tunisia. The university provides a wide range of advanced degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels mainly for bachelor degree and master degree in design field (space, graphic, product, textile, fashion).
The ISAMS and especially the department of design have a special role in Tunisia, since it supports the key exporting sectors of the economy. It offers high quality studies on Bachelor and Masters and it maintains international activity mainly with European universities.
The main particularity of our institute is the complementarily between the background of our university teachers: mainly between textile engineers and fashion, product, textile designers. This complementarily helps the development of an inter/multidisciplinary higher education programs in Textile design, Textile quality Development and Safety and sustainable Textile that will help promote the Sustainable Develoment Goals.
